Dale la vuelta

Dale la vuelta is a pedagogical object that can be observed from different angles. For children and young people to fully understand it, they have to turn it around and decipher each of its sides. The object seeks to shed light on the need to take a closer look and find new truths about what surrounds us. It seeks to demonstrate through experimentation that things can be seen only in one way from a specific point of view. It highlights the importance of further research to draw balanced and reasoned conclusions. By hinting the need to “turn it around”, this object seeks to foster the capacity for empathy in children and young people, showing the importance of adopting different points of view before issuing opinions or judgments. It includes a booklet with activities for teachers and facilitators to carry out reflection processes with children and young people.
